Feed716 was formed in 2023, with a goal to provide food to everyone in need, anywhere in the “716.” Our program formed from a partnership with Friends of Night People that already was serving meals across Buffalo, NY.
Meals are prepared in our kitchen located at 243 Sears Street, on Buffalo’s East Side. Meals are available in our adjacent community dining room and served Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 3:30 to 5PM. Meals are prepared at our kitchen and transferred to our partnerships on Buffalo’s East Side and in Riverside to be distributed to individuals who are hungry and struggling with food insecurity. The staffing is donated by Friends of Night People as well as coordinating volunteers to help prepare, serve, and distribute meals. Feed716 has partnerships and acquired support from Friends of Night People, foundations, businesses, and community members to provide the food we serve.
Our vision is “Food for today, food for everyday.” Our goal is to be able to provide a hot balanced and nutritious meal to someone who arrives at our community kitchen. Our goal is to provide a hot balanced nutritious meal to someone who arrives to one of our community partnerships AND two prepared frozen balanced nutritious meal for the next two days.
